Good Site

Arrived about 1/2 hour before 1pm to find a queue nearly on to the already busy road however, the wardens opened early to get the queue moving. The pitch was of a good size not far from the Facilities Block. The site overall was tidy and well kept. Did not use the main facilities but the Disabled Room was in good condition and clean. The Dish Washing area was a separate room which was a good idea with blackboards on the walls given local information with 4 sink areas. The only slight downside was people walking across your pitch when you were using it, okay on the grass area but should not really be happening on the pitch itself. The site is well positioned to walk into town and beyond to the Harbour. Good restaurants in town were - Mayden for Fish and Chips - cooked to order/Tandoori Haven - really good Indian restaurant/Royal China - wonderful Chinese meal and for Breakfast or mid-morning/afternoon the Waterfront Cafe, wonderful cheese scones. The road leading to the site is extremely busy and has parking both sides this mainly consists of Motorhomes staying overnight/for a few days and do not want to use the site. The Bay Fish and Chip and the two places that sell ice cream are quite expensive. The site is well positioned to visit Dunnottar Castle and some of the fishing villages along the coast. Overall the site is okay.
