I was volunteering at an event near Glasgow in November and stayed here for the first time. I found the toilet block to be exceptionally clean and very warm which was great for that time of the year. The in place warden and his wife who came from Elgin were great hosts and good company. The location of the site gave me easy access to the M74 and had I the time to do so would have used the pub and restaurant less than a few hundred yards away. I found there was a private bus service available to take you to Glasgow town centre and this was being used by others from the site - very handy. People should not be put off by its location to the M74 - it is not noticeable and that is despite the roadworks taking place there. I understand there is a rail station close by for access to Glasgow central. Great location to give easy access to the central road network
