Stayed twice at this site - once pre-COVID and again in July 2020 for our first foray out into the world of COVID restrictions. It was with some trepidation that we embarked on this post-lockdown break but the procedures in place and the welcome of the staff made this a very reassuring and enjoyable time. This site has to be one of our favourite locations. Next door to the site is the Abbey, which is really lovely and well worth a visit. Tewkesbury itself is a very attractive little town right on the doorstep of the Club site with beautiful riverside walks and activities. The town has a very interesting history and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. It is much used as a stopover on the way to and from the southwest resorts but it really deserves an accolade as a location in it’s own right. The site is immaculately kept by the wardens who seem to be constantly at work and they are so friendly and helpful. A very reassuring introduction to a resumption of touring enjoyment once more.
