Good for families

Great base for the Peak District

Really nice campsite with facilities kept to the highest standard. You have the usual UK campsite bewildering array of finger wagging rules that make you think of strait jackets but you forget them once you set up The campsite would benefit from some hedging around the pitches for privacy and the male warden could cheer up a bit. But on the whole a peaceful, beautiful campsite with the cleanest and best kept facilities I have come across and it's a great jump off point for the National Park. Top tip. The Bridge next to Morrisons at the bottom of the hill does an astonishing full english breakfast
