Peace and beauty

If you are looking for a peaceful get away then this site certainly hits the spot. Lets start with what some might think as faults. 1. The site doesnt have a toilet block. However it does have plenty of service points along the site. 2. The site has a very poor phone signal ( none existent) the pub opposite has free wifi so you can keep updated with the real world over a pint. 3. As with all sites the site Wifi is rubblish and should be avoided at all costs. 4. Access to the site should only be attempted from Pickering via Wrelton and Cropton do not try and use Chimney bank ! 5. The adjacent road can be noisy during the day but is generally quiet at night. The good points 1. The Coach House Inn opposite the site offers a great range of real ales and good food at a reasonable cost. The pub is also very dofg freindly and has an excellent seating area to the front. 2. The village has two amazing tea rooms the Graze on the green is to die for! 3. The walks from the site are epic miles and miles of beautiful scenery. 4. The site although remote is ideally suited for visiting lovely neighbouring villages such as Hutton le hole, Lastingham with its pretty chuch as wonderful Blacksmits Arms, Blakey Ridge, Cropton and further afield towards Egton and the popiular heartbeat country of Goathland. 5. The site itself is immaculate with a warm welcome and well kept facilities. 6. The village has a very active community with lots of local events. Give it a try you wont be disappointed
