doesent get much better

A very good superbly kept site, even when full it seems very spacious, wardens friendly facilities as always very well presented whatever time of day (though I think this is equally down to the type of visitor Sandringham attracts and by that I mean the more mature members) local enough for the coast and secluded enough to be so peaceful. May even visit in the winter.

Wonderful stay

1st visit but what a stay!! Foremost reason for visit was Sandringham House, lovely walk through woods to House, amazing visit. Kings Lynn lovely town, great shops, Minster and waterfront, Hunstanton very welcoming. Visiting Fish & Chip van to be recommended. Overall stay very successful - good memories

Pitch perfect!

Our first revisit in 30 years. Why have we left it so long? This has to be one of the network's best holiday locations. Good facilities, friendly wardens, spotlessly maintained. Then add in the delightfully setting, endless walking routes, and the Sandringham house and gardens and you see I do not exaggerate.

One of the Best

This site really is one of the best. It is 5 years since we were there but the high standards that we remembered were still in evidence. Love the long walks through the woods up to the Visitor centre at Sandringham. Site is very well situated for Hunstanton, Snettisham, Kings Lynn and Wells. Lots of other places such as Cromer and Sheringham are well within travelling distance. Wardens friendly and helpful. The two disappointments we had were with outside influences. Firstly, the bus ( stops outside the site) that used to go straight through to Hunstanton no longer travels that far but ends at Dersingham although we gather from locals that there are discussions ongoing to change that. Otherwise it means a change of buses. There are buses that travel along the main road , about half a mile away, but it is a very busy road to negotiate. Secondly , there is a Pizza man comes once a week. If you want value for money this is NOT your man. We ordered a Marguerita which cost £6 and quite frankly wasn't worth the money. Other than those two minor points this site is very well worth a visit.

An excellent site

This is one of the best, if not the best, CC sites we have stopped at. Very well laid out site, good facilities, friendly staff and immediate access to lovely walks in the Sandringham Estate forest. Well located for exloring the area.

Sandringham in September.

We enjoyed this site very much. Wardens were superb and the walks were beautiful as was the House. We liked Hunstanton and walked the dog along the beach. I went to a very good patchwork shop for fabric. I also went to Kings Lynn for shopping. Our Westie really loved chasing the pigeons and we were glad we stayed 10 days as we filled our time there very well.

Another pleasant stay

Very busy week end. Not many pitches to choose from but a good holiday nether the less. Facilities all a bit dated in one block were all very clean.

I can understand why it was fully booked

We had fortunately booked in advance. It was well worth it. A very pleasant site with well set out pitches, standard immaculate facilities and wonderful walks through the forest. Sandringham House is an easy 40 mins walk away and well worth it (you can drive if you like, loads of parking). The motorhome service point is easy to access.

Our first trip as a caravanner

As our first trip trying out the caravan lifestyle we must admit we thought it was alot easier than anticipated. Directions were spot on. Friendly helpful staff on arrival and clean, warm showers. Loved the fact that you could enjoy all the lovely woodland walks without moving your car. Perfect for my 3 yr old daughter to tire herself out with all the lovely fresh air. Shall definately return

Lovely site in woodland

We were here for 5 nights over August bank holiday. Despite picking the worst two weeks of the year for weather the site was lovely, very busy to start with, great playground for children if you have them, we were parked at the top end of the site in a quiet spot.  Nothing but pigeons for dawn chorus!  Not a problem, we were invading their territory.  Was pleased that site had pizza van came to site - very good baked to order for you and fish and chip van.  Highly recommend trip to Sandringham, lovely restaurant and was pleased house fully accessible to me as disabled.  Enjoyable visit.
