Lovely location

The Sandringham Estate Club Campsite
We really enjoyed the setting of this site amongst the trees and lovely being able to walk to the Sandringham Estate and Castle Rising. It's also not too far from the coast and we went to Heacham one evening to watch the sunset. The toilet block is dated (as others have said) but was clean. The dishwashing area is outside, with only two sinks and no shelves so it's a little crowded. Also be aware that the main two walks are directly behind/between pitches so you may want to avoid these if possible. We found the pitches themselves to be fairly flat (no problem with ramps) but quite close to each other - the grassy area between pitches seemed quite narrow compared to other sites, so although it's a lovely setting we felt quite on top of our neighbours. We would return in the future mainly for the location - depending on the developments as it looks as though they are creating extra camping/glamping facilities

Would recomend to anyone wishing a quite place you park up and stay, Good walk near to site and in the midst of Norfolk what more could anyone wish for. Great pub short walk through the woods but need a torch this time of year but still worth the walk, staff here friendly. So all in all a great place...

not sure about the planned "improvements"

The Sandringham Estate Club Campsite
I am not sure if people were visiting the site before it closed for upgrades or if we just timed it wrong but it seemed full while we were there, the wardens and site are fantastic, BUT and it is a big but having looked at the plans I do not think the site will be for us after the changes, I am note sure what direction the Caravan and Motorhome are heading I thought the clue would have been in the heading, but then maybe the members want something different from these two old fogies

Excellent site and staff very helpful

The Sandringham Estate Club Campsite
This was our second trip to Sandringham with our young grandchildren and it was just as good. The site itself is a wildlife haven and tranquil. The grounds are kept well and the dated facilities block were clean. Good to hear there is an upgrade this winter as it is needed. However, what is a real important point, when we needed help as our three year old granddaughter split her lip and needed a first aid kit, they were fabulous, insisted we kept them informed and very helpful. We thanked the next day and were very grateful. Hats off to them.

You are paying for the Sandringham name!!

The Sandringham Estate Club Campsite
We stayed at this site for 2 nights whilst on our way home after holidaying in Norfolk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the site grounds were well maintained. The pitches were large and we managed to find a flat pitch, but did notice that quite a few units were using leveling blocks etc. The site is in a lovely area, and you can walk through the wood immediately off site to Sandringham House. We enjoyed a cycle to Hunstanton, mostly on very quiet roads. The Royal Station at Wolferton is worth a look, as is Sandringham House and Gardens. However, the facilities were a big let down. They were very dated and in need of a deep clean. The showers, of which there were only 3 in the block, did not have a big enough area to keep you clothes etc dry whilst showering. There was black mould on the ceiling and around the pipe work. The water was nice and hot , so a plus point. The washing up station only had 2 sinks, so we had to wait in line to wash up. This area was outside and needed a good clean, as the ceiling area was full of cobwebs, spiders and dead flies. The WIFI was dreadful, so i suggest you research things/opening times etc before you arrive on site. We paid £82.60 for 2 nights, and really, expected more/better facilities for our money.
