Woodland paradise and natural

We stayed 2 nights recently at this location, and absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an abundance of information on were to go from the site. Castle Rising is a charming little spot (very short cycle ride, but across the main ride at one point) with a tea room, pub and clothing boutique. There is a social club that can walk to through the woods, so yes, cheaper priced drinks than in a pub. Social club looks like a ranch type building with a verandah around. Nice walk to Sandringham estate, but book online if you want to see the house and gardens. Fish n chip van Monday, Wed & Friday and I think there is a pizza van on the Thursday. We didn't try these as we took our own food. Only thing I would say is PIGEONS. I thought they looked very innocent and cute during the day, but at night they jump on the roof ...lol...well tap dance, so if you can get a kite replica to stick on the roof to deter them at would be all well and good, otherwise be prepared for the tap dancing pigeons or invest in some earplugs. Saying that, we didn't have that many pigeons land on the roof by the sounds of it. No more than on or two. Loved the site, and would good back in a heart beat
