Thetford forest
A well laid out site with friendly wardens, well sited for long walks in the forest and with plenty of opportunities to spot the local wildlife, including Muntjac, Squirrels by the handfull, and the highlight of the bird spots being Nightjar about 5 mins walk from the site.
Generally the site is quiet, however there is an army training ground just over the road, and while we were there we had quite a bit of helicopter and troop transport activity on a couple of nights.
