We had 3 nights at this site last week in our caravan. This is a no frills site, basic toilet block, no barrier at the entrance, all grass pitches. The plus side, the site was clean and well kept by the friendly wardens, close to the town center, great location for north Yorkshire attractions, Lidl and Tesco on the door step, good off site dog walks. oh, and its cheap. Having said that having Lidl on the door step is a plus point do not pitch close to their fence, they have deliveries upto 10 pm in the evening and on one occasion 5 am in the morning, VERY noisy.   We still had a good time, met some very nice people had reasonable weather and after complaining to the Lidl manager about the early delivery we got an apology and compensation, 2 small toys for our grandkids.  Every Lidl helps.
