Stayed here for 3 nights and were a little disappointed. The site is basically a field which is owned by the racecourse. If it’s a race day you have to move your outfit to another field! The facilities are massively lacking sadly. They’re used on race days so the condition of them are sub standard compared to the clubs usual standard. Lots of squashed flies on the walls and ceilings. On a plus side it’s really handy to walk into Thirsk which is only 5 minutes away. There’s a 2 supermarkets opposite the site. It’s an Ok site to use as a base but don’t expect it to be top class or quiet.
