Thirsk Racecourse site
Just loved this site; arrived with some apprehension because of reviews suggesting there was likely to be road noise issues, but these proved to be groundless. Very easy access to local supermarkets (Tesco & Lidl) and even when pushing a wheelchair we could be into Thirsk town centre within ten minutes.
Thirsk is a bustling market town with plenty to do, eat and see, including some sporting activity for locals within the racecourse itself.
Will certainly be back - it's in a lovely part of Yorkshire.
