Good value for money
Really friendly and helpful wardens.
Yes, facilities block is dated but it is clean and provides washing up area, laundry etc and given charges/costs I didn’t think that bad.
Not great views but handy location, central to town, supermarkets next door, dog walking with easy access to off road paths with views etc.
Thirsk is ideally placed for adventuring further into beautiful part of the country.
