A bit of a shame

Access to the site is down a mile long narrow lane with no passing places for caravans!!! Dont follow sat nav use handbook directions. As always friendly helpful wardens. The site is spread out over a large area hedged off into smaller fields. The site has a play area suitable more for older children. Toilet block is standard and in the middle of the site. The down sides are no mobile phone signal (bonus?) and the club wi-fi is abismal definitely not worth the money. The site has TV points on the bollards which are needed as the normal reception is non existent. The electric bollards are placed randomly, so some of the vans are on top of the bollard but some are at the extremity of the electric cable. I had to park off the peg to reach the bollard, this is the worst placing of the electrics I have seen. The cl at the entrance to the site is a better option.

Great customer service

I cannot rate the site as didn't get to stay here but the customer service excellent because weather so bad we got a phonecall on our way down saying it was waterlogged and people were leaving. The lady asked us where we wanted to stay and ten minutes later it was all booked for us and confirmation emails received. Superb

10 out of 10

we stayed here for 10 days and it has to be the best site we have stayed on. the facilities were always clean and are well looked after. the site warden is always busy making sure that the grounds are kept to a high standard. some of the pitches are on a slight slope but not too bad. our awning flooded one day with a very bad 24hour rain storm but soon dried out. it has everything you need and more for an enjoyable stay. the location is excellent being 4 miles to newquay and 4 miles to perranporth. the site wifi is useless and no phone signal at all so that helps for the piece and quiet but not so good if you are a techno freak. overall the best. thank you 10 out of 10.

Our week in cornwall

We chose a grass pitch even though both was offered, our fault, it was great until it started to rain on Wednesday. It turned into a bog overnight, so please be aware of choosing grass if the weather isn't going to be dry.The wardens let us pull our van forward of the pitch and lent us a spare electric cable due to the soggy pitch Apart from that the staff, site and facilities were excellent. Would definetly return again. Brilliant dog walk.

My Visit

The site is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly. Location is great for touring both the north and south coast of Cornwall. This is probably the best dog walk I've come across on a club site. The only disappointment was the wi-fi service on site. There is no mobile phone signal on site so you have to rely upon wi-fi to communicate out. I found it hard to gain access to the wi-fi as did many others that I spoke to on the site.

Child friendly and picturesque site with very helpful staff

The wardens on site are probably the most helpful I have come across. They provided helpful advice about places to visit and were wonderfully understanding and supportive when we had a significant technical issue with our van late at night (out of hours).  The site is well maintained and cared for with a clean toilet block.  The great thing about this site is its proximity to a wide variety of activities for all, including families. With a wide range of beaches for surfing and rock pooling, pretty fishing villages on both the Atlantic Coast and the English Channel aswell as the Eden project and Crealy adventure park.  I will be returning!!

Brilliant Site

We have been coming to Treamble Valley for 11 years now and always stay for three weeks. We love it, every year meeting the same people who have also been coming for years. The toilet block is always clean and only had to queue a couple of times for a shower {but we do come right in the middle of the school summer holidays so you dont mind having to wait occasionally}. Its a lovely site for children, with a brilliant park and its lovely that they make friends straight away and can safely go off and play. Also a brilliant site for dogs. We never use the dog walk because there are footpaths that run straight out of site into the beautiful countryside. We like to walk to the closest pub, The Smugglers Den. It takes about half an hour as we take the long route cross country through the sand dunes, so the dogs get a good walk before we get there. Cant wait to come back next year.

Won't return

Pretty site if you are put on the upper levels but down the hill is not good, noisy and too open. Not told as first time CC camper that electric hook up requires you to turn plug in socket to right to get power?? So no power first night very convenient with two young grandchildren. Play area too enclosed can't see children inside and requires adult supervision up to 10 years old.... Hoards of skateboarding youths making the road dangerous for all as the incline up until very late into the night. Dog mess near our pitch had to ask warden to clear up. Dog owners were walking their dogs all over the grass and warden said ' unlikely to make a fuss to the dog owners as CC don't want to lose members' well that's a good reason why as a non dog owner I might reconsider membership next year! Positives are clean loos and showers and helpful wardens. Not convinced this site deserves such good ratings, been to better non CC sites.

Summer stay at Treamble

After a disastrous start to our holiday on a none caravan club site,  we moved to this delightful site. We had a wonderful, secluded pitch towards the top end (the place to be if you seek peace and quiet as the lower end is near to the playground and could be a little noisy). The wardens were superb and extremely helpful. The site is very pretty with lots of lovely walks and the children's playground is the best we have seen on a caravan club site. We will definitely return here next year!
