Site wardens were really friendly and helpfull. Helped us park our caravan as our van broke down, and they became our receptionists passing messages back and forth with AA.The site was spot on very clean and the park is amazing the best park on a caravan site in this country

Pleasant stay

Stayed last 2 weeks July,  and site was full and busy. Two points to make,  we had to hire blocks because of the sloping site which was all that was available when we arrived, no mention of this in the club book, also we feel another toilet block is needed especially if you are in the bottom field. The wardens did a great job considering the number of caravans, people on site

Really improved site

It's a few years since we've been here but we really enjoyed our long weekend. The location is excellent and the improvements to the play area were much appreciated by our two! It's a lovely, peaceful, friendly site and we will definitely be back soon!

Lovely Site

After visiting Perranporth over the years and staying on other touring sites, this one has to be the best  by far. Its very quiet even though there is a  children's play area, the toilet & showers are nice and clean with plenty of hot water the site is kept nice clean and tidy.   The wardens were also very polite  friendly and helpful.  We will be visiting again next year.

July 12th for 2 weeks

This is the 4th year we have been here and as usual the site was spotless and the wardens always seemed to be on the go keeping it that way and being friendly and helpful at the same time. We moved a couple of days after we first arrived so we could get the pitch we wanted in a quiet corner overlooking the fields. The fish van is handy for the day you arrive and the fish were lovely, also a butcher and a pizza van visits the site a couple of times a week. The dog walk is one of the best and prettiest we have ever been on although spoilt by a few people who cant be bothered to get the poo up and put it in the many bins provided. we shall be back all being well again next year xx

Brilliant fortnight stay

We had a great stay here, leaving on Wednesday.  Arriving at 1300 on a Thursday, we found it difficult to find a suitable pitch for an 8 m unit plus awning and annex - lots of the pitches slope and chocks are needed, however after trying snd failing on one pitch, an alternate was suggested and was close to the play area. My parents moved pitches the day after we arrived thanks to the suggestions from the wardens so we could be located together.. The wardens were always friendly and busy from morning till night.  Suggestions for improvements would be a second toilet block at the bottom end of site abs an attempt to level some of the grass pitches.  A fantastic fir the play area, the children preferred the park to the beach.  See you next year!

Lovely family summer holiday

We're just back and it was our first family trip to Cornwall.  We stayed 9 nights. We arrived at 3pm on a Thursday (no traffic jams) to find no suitable pitches that would accommodate us and our awning (not massive or anything), but we were able to pitch the caravan without awning for one night and move the next morning to a really super pitch just vacated, which was perfect for our stay.  Obviously, I'd have preferred not to have to move, but it was quick and easy actually and it's peak season, so to be expected.  We were close to the best play area I've seen on a site.  My 6 year old son made many friends and had a super time most evenings until late.  The loo block was clean and I never had to queue.  The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall.  We did so much; St Michael's Mount, Lizard and its lighthouse, Mevagissey, Padstow as well as loads of stunning North coast beaches; particularly our favourite in St Agnes.  We ate tonnes of yummy ice cream, fish and chips, went to the Cyder farm, bought boogie boards for the surf, cycled the Camel trail, visited the Eden project, a tin mine in St Agnes and so much more.  Everyone is so friendly in the site and all around Cornwall.   Definitely follow instructions to approach when towing, and save your location to your sat nav as it's down some very narrow lanes (but great for stopping and picking up some fresh eggs from various honesty boxes left out).  There's a fab camp shop nearby if you're in need of anything.  There's little mobile phone coverage across most of Cornwall we found, but the site's wifi was always available and fine for email/facebook.  We bought a long TV cable from reception (£19) and plugged into the site's mains TV which was excellent reception. The site's fairly hilly, although our pitch was mostly level - we learned to fill fresh water from up the hill and empty waste water down the hill as the road's pretty steep... don't let go of the full aquaroll or it will end up in Devon! The laundry was great £4 for a wash from huge and fast machines and there's a separate wet suit shower to get the sand off. All in all, a great holiday in a fab location.

Lost and confused

Spent 10 days here at the end of last month. Once we found the site we were pleasantly surprised. Site was beautiful, wardens very helpful and very very clean. The downside of things were only 1 toilet/shower block and the sign posting on the main road was terrible. 4 times we got lost on going out. In the end it got to the stage we didn't want to leave the campsite in case we couldn't get back. Didn't help with no sat nav. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

Brilliant Site

Another lovely stay at this brilliant site but the only downpoint was the personal hygiene of some of the members leaving the ladies showers in a terrible state at times. Dirty plasters left on floor of shower and even worse!!! I feel the Wardens need a badge of honour to cope with some of the problems they had this year that were left for them to "Clean Up" and my heart went out to them, they were heroes. Apart from these mishaps the site is excellent as usual and well kept. Feel it could do with another set of wardens on site to keep on top of members behaviour.
