What a view day and night

Second year running at this fantastic spot - Stunning views all arround with its own planetarium at night, stand out look up- (weather permitting) - Well equipped shop with pasties and cream teas. The wardens are very friendly and helpful with perfect cleanliness everywhere. Be warned though that on occasions the wind doth blow but when the sun shines there is no other place to be at sunset. Whilst the pitch search and allocation can be a worry when you book our family find it quite exciting to locate and bag a pitch. Fish and chip van sunday -thursday get in the queue early sit on the coast path bench and watch the sun go down . Bossinney Swimming for the athletic 30 minutes walk - Trebarwith ( tide permitting) for families 15 minutes in the car) Already to book for next year!

A great site but...

My wife has tried to get me to go to Cornwall  for the last 8 years, so I gave in and ended up here. Now I try to be honest and fair in my reviews so here we go, 3 of us 2 adults a 6yr old and lively springer spaniel puppy. Getting to the site was easy and we'll sign posted, upon arrival however you have to park your outfit and walk around the site to find a pitch you want then deposit  the wife, child and dog insitue to prevent someone else getting it ,then return to office to tell them your pitch number, before towing van to the pitch. First impressions of the site are well kept with magnificent  views from all angles. We ended up as far from the reception as you could be ...not through choice  just lack of pitches. Now with this came 2 issues, the toilets and showers for  the top part of the site are mobile ones and although spotless (credit to the wardens) they are too small by far, you can't shower in them if like us you have a little one,so end up walking all the way down to reception. The other issue is lack of wife even using the sites wife was hit and miss. A walk to the beach is not for the faint hearted or unfit, very steep with open edges, too dangerous for youngsters not to be holding hands. We faced  gales and blimey did we know it, the  biggest surprise was the awning being still attached in the morning. The site office sells a good selection and the pork sausages are fabulous, the wardens made a real effort to  make the stay the best it could be and Julie was so lovely. In closing fabulous site, views that are fantastic and smashing staff . oh nearly forgot a good dogfield too! Tintagle is close and fish n chips from uncle jacks cabin in the high street are cheap and fresh! 9/10

This has to be the best site in the UK!

This was our second visit.  Nature laid on spectacular views and sunsets again!  But we also had a dose of wind!! As last year, we opted for the top field rather than the terraced hard standings.  It just feels more rural and closer to nature. Facilities were spotless.  Warden team really friendly with some humour emerging in the location of 'dummy' workmen - amusing. Only issue - fish n chip van, queues horrendous -90 mins!  Limited veggie choice.

Very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant couple of nights at Trewethett Farm, beautiful views,  beautiful weather after the first day. easy walk into Tintagel and Boscastle  only thing I would say is we had to walk round and find our own pitch in the pouring rain , I would rather just be allocated a pitch number as we have been on other CC sites.

Loved it

Great views, lovely staff, beautiful walks. Not much for kids which suits us perfectly as we have none ;-) clean bathrooms with great music to wake you in the mornings. Can't wait to return.

Bliss

Wonderful site, great walks to both boscastle and tintagel. If it's too much to walk back you can call the "taxi" who will bring you straight back to the site. the site can be windy whilst we were there we had 40 mph winds, the wardens did Advise newcomers not to put their awnings up due to the  warnings. The onsite shop has absolutely everything you can think of all reasonably priced too. There is a daily delivery of pasties and sausage rolls, and a chip van comes every Sunday and Thursday - can recommend!! Wardens are very friendly and always on hand to assist. We will definitely be returning.

Great views!

Nice clean site, well looked after by the wardens and great views of the Cornish coastline.  Very windy at times.  Well worth a visit to explore this area of North Cornwall.
