Location of easy access from A66 yet far enough away from main road so don't really hear traffic. Great clean facilities, friendly staff, childrens play area and games room. 10 minutes away from Ullswater and close to Penrith and Keswick. Withing easy close proximity of the southern lakes and Carlisle where theres the castle and Solway aviation museum where they have a Vulcan bomber, in which you can climb on board. Blencathra and Helvellyn also in close range and I dare say Blencathra is in walking distance for the hardier walkers. Phone signal snd internet not up to much, but I managed to get a signal from time to time. TV signal by satellite only however, the site has RF connection so make sure you have 25m of RF Coax cable.
