Beautiful site
Had a week at Troutbeck. Although the weather was terrible for August even in the Lakes the site was spotless. Nice size pitches with clean proper stone gravel (not the cheap stuff that gets everywhere). Staff helpful, one even finished our laundry for us. If you want to explore you really need a car so we took a tow car and we're glad.
Can recommend the Lake District Wildlife Park and Alpacaly Ever After locally, our little boy loved both.
