We have all stayed on sites where the Camp Commandant is fresh out of traffic warden and/or running a salt mine training camp but that’s definitely not the case here! We arrived late after overrunning the time allocated for the handover of our new Motorhome. En route we had received a polite phone call enquiring of our whereabouts but they decided to keep the reception open an extra half hour for us although we wouldn’t have been offended if they had given us a pitch number and left us to it. At reception the welcome was warm and friendly and we afforded ourselves the opportunity to purchase lovely homemade scones and some fresh eggs. The site itself is beautifully kept, is well laid out and has a fab dog walk attached. The toilets are immaculate although the showers were unavailable to us due to Covid restrictions which wasn’t a problem to us. Overall we loved it and will definitely return.
