We had a wonderful time here, cycling from site using the National cycle routes. Occasionally quite steep so cheating with an electric bike is useful. Excellent breakfast stop in Pooley Bridge. We found the site really peaceful. Yes, there was some clay pigeon shooting, but not for long periods. We found members barking dogs much more irritating- if your dog persists in barking at other people why can’t you put it in your unit? Everything was spotless and clearly the club is trying to do their best to keep us safe in these trying times. Really unfortunate therefore that members can’t abide by the request to wear masks in the facilities. I wear mine to protect you so it seems that you are being really discourteous to me when you don’t do the same. Thank you to the wardens for making us feel so welcome
