We had a fantastic long weekend here 6th - 11th May. The weather was unbelievable, so warm on the Monday we thought it was too hot to walk. The welcome to site was very warm, we found the wardens very friendly, nothing was a bother. The whole site was beautifully kept, clean and tidy, all the lawns were neat. Loo blocks were immaculate - I know some complain about them being in need of refurbishment, but I couldn't see any problems. The showers are big compartments and the wash basin closets even have their own hairdryers. It was very peaceful while we were on site and we didn't hear anything from the Activity Centre adjoining the site. The views from the ordinary pitches are superb. What more could you want?
