Great time
First visit and looking forward to going back. Wardens really helpful and the facilities are spotless. Very well placed between Keswick and Penrith and no narrow roads. The views from the site are beautiful and it is very peaceful. Would definately recommend this site. The pitches are large and well managed. Shop on site sells great eggs. Tried the Kirkstone Pass, good pub near the top for a much needed shandy. Thanks to the staff they make you feel welcome, had a fabulous week.
