Stayed on a serviced pitch which is up to the left as you come onto the site, lovely and quiet with the sound of water if you pitch towards the top. Quiet clean site within easy reach of Keswick, 15 minute drive , Ullswater and Thirlmere. Not close amenities or shops. Just off A66 but not road noise. Shower block lovely and clean, water hot - site staff welcoming and helpful. Fish and chip van twice a week- think Friday and Monday. Site shop - little sparse, forgot sugar and had to go into Keswick. Dog friendly , nice little playground for kids and a games room.
