This site is in a great location for holidaying around the lakes. The staff were friendly and We saw that that they were very helpful. Unfortunately we like a quiet and relaxing site and this site not only has an activity place next door but it’s also a farm and we happened to be there on the morning they decided to shear the sheep starting at 6.30 am. The pen was literally up against the fence to the site and we were on the other side. Also the dog walk seemed to be around the pitches including our own which we thought was not the correct etiquette The campsite didn’t appear to be overly busy but the shower block was not as clean as we had expected from CMC site
