Cant book through the caravan club online but on contacting the site direct they allocate you a pitch themselves (we asked for a map to be emailed to us first so we could look at the layout and request a pitch number) - on arrival was allocated the pitch next to our chosen one but was fine. Its a shame all sites don't just let you choose on arrival where you wish to pitch like most caravan club sites do - its just as easy for the owners to run with pitch numbers/keys . Anyway back to the site, it is beautifully laid out with lots of pitches overlooking the water. Lots of good lighting (we went in nov so this was important as dark 5pm). Lots of nice touches with uplighters and benches make it pretty. Pitch sizes brilliant 10 x 10mtrs on all and all have border of shrubs between, little extras like that go along way to making it a lovely site. Wet rooms were clean and warm and nice showers. Although think in busy months, the toilet ratio may be stretched with 2 of the 3 toilets in the wet room block being in the wet rooms. There is a 2nd shower toilet block on the other side with 3 seperate showers and 3 toilets. The dog walk on site is lovely and many longer lovely walks in surrounding area too did a good circular one from marston/houghton 7 miles. Will definately return really lovely site .
