A Beautiful Site

Access was easy and on arrival we were told which pitches were probably free which we appreciated. We were lucky to find pitch 79 free, which was a corner pitch and with a partial view of the estuary. Being right next to the facilities was also handy. The facilities were clean but very busy on the mornings. We loved the scenic view here but the site was the least quiet we had stayed on. It wasn’t noisy - just children playing on a caravan site because the weather was nice. But not what we are used to. The walks here were great with the Wirral Way directly opposite the site entrance - it would be handy to have a sign here. There is a handy coffee shop not far from the site but we didn’t get chance to try it. During our stay we walked: along the beach to the sailing club, around the country park, to West Kirby and Hoylake and to Heswall, all directly from the site. On our last night we watched a beautiful sun set from the sailing club.
