It was the first time back to this site in almost 30 years. We were impressed by the improvements that have been made. The staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The cafe and swimming pool were good and facilities good. The idea of using ‘bathrooms’ ie toilet, basin & shower, to us was disappointing. Although these were cleaned regularly, at least daily & often more, they were often left wet and steamy by previous occupants who insisted on shutting the windows! Whilst it appears like a good idea I would not like to see them as standard as availability could be better. Having said that, we had a great time.
