Not good this trip

Been visiting this site for 10 yrs ,it was the worst trip ever we had a pitch behind the office in the cul-de-sac as the site was full the path from the office to the pitches had been closed and the warden decided to turn it into a Den for the kids. I have nothing against kids i have 3 of my own and 7 grand kids the noise was horrendous they were running through our pitch and i mean around our chairs. The Den is surrounded by bushes and trees so the parents couldnt see their children or what was going on i  tried explaining to the Warden that we witnessed bullying and fighting. The Wardens words were kids will be kids, now I'm an x Prison Officer and have experience with juveniles, these were younger i went to the warden because I'm sure the parents wouldn't want to here it from me.I must point out that because of this so called Den that the site park was totally empty and it looked like the club has spent a fortune on it.In todays society I'm sure that if something serious had happened that the club would end up in court. In my opinion you do not have a Den 20ft from a pitch.

Comment from The Caravan Club:

Many thanks for leaving a review and we are really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit here. The wardens have been in touch as they wanted to address your concerns. In the last 3 years there have been no paths closed on site, with no path being turned into a den. This year, access to the tree den has actually been restricted to a route near Reception and the Tractor Compound as this helps prevent children from accessing via pitches. As such there is no longer access to the tree den through pitches on site.

On a rural, country, child friendly site the den is a wonderful feature that enables children to explore, socialise and create their own adventures. Younger children have been accompanied to the tree den by their parents or grandparents and it is a magical space for children to enjoy. The wardens now point out the new play area and the tree den to new arrivals, so they are able to select their pitch close to, or far from, either facility. This seems to work well for most arrivals. Please be assured the wardens take reports of bullying very seriously and the Regional Manager has been alerted to your comments.
