Upon arrival the lady in reception warmly welcomed us and helped us settle in very easily. The reception office has a supply of the basics, bread milk etc. Our children settled in well and spent hours playing in the designated childrens play area. We walked our dog in the dog walking area and he met and played with lots of other friendly and sociable dogs. The site was immaculate throughout. My mobile is connected to the 3 network and I had a good 3G signal, so I had no need to link to the onsite WiFi. The site is very close to a Toby Carvery, a breakfast buffet at £3.99 (there was no need to take the cadac) and a short drive to the park and ride at Monks Cross.
