This was our second visit to this lovely campsite and it just grows on us. Firstly the journey time from the Hook of Holland is about 3 hours (traffic dependant) so doable before reception closing time if on a daytime ferry. Michael and family are very welcoming and invited all the campers to their large traditional bonfire and provided delicious mulled wine. Pitches are large and fully serviced. Although no hard-standings there are no problems with siting vans/motor homes. This is a lovely part of the Netherlands with lots to do and see. For children there is a paddling pool and a animal petting corner. Cycling and walking are well catered for. Ommen is a lovely little town with plenty of shops, restaurants, petrol stations etc. Will certainly return
