This was our Fourth Visit

The fact we have been here 3 times before should be enough to tell you what a great site this is. An amazing reception on arrival from the owners and an escort to your pitch. As we visited out of season we were offered a selection to choose from and just let then know which one we had. We opted for a pitch with plenty of shade but also enough sun when we wanted it. The pitches are HUGE. If you can't get your outfit pitched on this site you really need to wonder if you should be using a tourer at all!!!!. It really is like pitching up in a beautiful garden which is maintained to a high standard. As usual there's bread available on site during high season but the Boulangerie just up the road is great. We used the railway station in Touran for our trains to Paris. We bough two Navigo weekly passes for €35 each which includes €5 for the pass. You need a small photo for them to make up the pass but the lady at the station kindly took copies from our driving licences. That gave us free travel on all buses and trains in the Ile de France area including the Metro for 5 days (M-F) We found them great value and Touran station is only a 15 minute drive away with free parking. Tip: Go for line P which provides a direct fast train from Touran to Paris (29 minutes) You also need a map of the Metro. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners of this site so please ask if you need help or advice. Even if we didn't want to go into Paris again (we don't) we would still visit this site again because its so nice. Tip 2: Not sure how this works but there were a few holiday makers who shared a pitch (I saw Spanish with 2 caravans and a group of 3 Polish in two caravans and a motorhome and in all cases still had plenty of room.) There are also a few cabins if you wanted to holiday with friends who don't have their own accommodation.
