Disappointed
To say we were disappointed with this site was a understatement, it needed a good clean from the roads and paths to the shower block, the washing up areas were dirty and worn out, these needed replacing. other parts of the site were showing signs of excessive wear and a total lack of maintenance, the roads were suffering from pot holes and some pitches looked as if the grass hadn't been cut in months.
The children's play area was dangerous with broken furniture, you could not use the basketball area as it was used to store logs.
The shop was not open when we arrived and no information available, the bar was disappointing, the free wifi was non existent.
The pitches varied in size and aspect I have no idea as to how you were supposed to site a caravan on some of them. There was a large number of pre erected tents which no doubt are operated by the site on behalf of other companies I would have been most upset if I had hired one of those on this site as most were in need of a good clean.
We had research this site via the Internet and through caravan directories i only wish we had read some more of the reviews before we booked as we had a most disappointing stay we will not be returning.
