Having spent a week in County Wicklow, we came down to Killarney and This site, we were greeted with great friendliness and the lady gave us so much information it saved us searching for a tourist office, we did so much in the 7 nights we stayed. the ring of Beara, The Ring of Kerry, Rosscastle and much much more. A visit to a pub called the 'The Shire'  Hobbit house really with good beer. The showers were some of the best we have been in, but be ready for paying 1 Euro per shower, slightly different to England. There is a railway line nearby high up and the trains don't start running until around 6 a.m. And we did not find it a problem, but when we arrived and saw it we wondered if it would be. This is a large site and we were there at the end of the season, so only a third was occupied. Overall a great site and very helpful owners. We have two dogs and were able to utilise the larger areas of the site that were unoccupied.
