Choose your pitch carefully

Very Spanish site, quite noisy in high season, with very small pitches and narrow access roads. Wash facilities good and well maintained. We stayed here in August on a hard standing pitch. Beware it is virtually impossible to get even heavy duty pegs in for the awning as mostly small boulders not gravel base. Luckily no heavy winds during our stay.  Area lacks many basic amenities for tourists unless you only want to visit bodegas. Local area felt very empty and trying to find an open bar for lunch in the villages and towns was mostly a lost cause. Very few shops and other facilities. Great area for walkers, although very hot when we were there so need to carry lots of water.
