Location was good, as it is a short walk into the town and to several Bodegas. An uphill walk to the bus station for a worthwhile trip to Logrono. The facilities were good and clean. However, the general state of the site was disappointing, coming straight off the ferry at Bilbao, compared with the UK sites we are used to. Other people's comments about a 'shanty town' are quite correct. Having booked several weeks ahead, we were surprised to find that the site had no record of our booking. However, they seemed pretty relaxed about it, as the lady who seemed to be associated with the bookings was on holiday. A big however is the fact that we needn't have bothered booking as midweek the site wasn't busy and we would have paid less than half the price using our ACSI card. Because of that, it is unlikely we shall use the Club overseas booking service on a future occasion.
