Stayed for 4 nights in mid April 2018. Temperatures in the mid 20s so we were lucky! Very big site with building work going on to expand the number of pitches. Lots of unoccupied units so quieter than it looked. Very good toilet blocks. Good access to walking / cycling paths along the river. The beach is 3 miles away so better to cycle than walk. Easy drive to Ypres or Bruges. Locally Westfront Niewpoort is about a mile from the site and worth a visit. To the south Diksmuide and the Yser Tower for a spectacular view from the roof. Good cycleways from the site by the river to Diksmuide. A very useful location for WW1 museums.
