Stopover Site at end of our holiday

We were made very welcome by the efficient Lady site owner. We approached site from the west watching carefully to avoid the ferry. We left motorway at junction 25. You pass the ferry sign on your way so it is easy to avoid. Road route adds about 30 mins to journey and is easy to find. You cross over a large bridge and head down the other side of river. I would reccomend doing supermarket shopping at one of the larger villages on route as Jumieges is very small. The site is fine with modern toilet block and large shaded pitches. There is an older block which has basic toilets and dish washing etc. Good area for cycling. The abbey at Jumieges is well worth a visit and not too expensive as well as the building there are nice grounds to walk round. The village is pretty with few bars and a restaurant. Site has basic bar and small shop. We didnt use the swimming pool. Returning to the motorway heading East resulted in us using some narrow but safe roads. A good site close to the river in a scenic part of France. Andy .
