This is our first experience of a Winter sun holiday rally, and it has been fantastic. The friendly rally hosts, Judith & Sam, do a fantastic job of not only organising lots of activities and events but also provide excellent communication through a variety of media - there's a facebook group, a weekly coffee morning/briefing and a rally tent, to ensure everyone knows what is going on. Some of the events, typically weekly, include: Cycle rides, walks, walking football, walking netball, boules, quiz night, craft workshop, whist. There are also excursions to the major resorts/cities in the area such as Cartagena, Benidorm, Murcia, Elche, Torrevieja and there are regular Rally Suppers and site dinner dances. Of course you can get involved as much or as little as you wish - and that's the great thing, just do the things that you're interested in. The La Manga area has a lots to offer - local towns and cities to which you can walk, cycle or drive; Beautiful countryside and beaches; Local bars and restaurants, including the on-site El Mirador.
