Good for families

Caravaner First time in France.

We found the staff were very helpful and the facilities were very clean etc. the food in the restaurant was very nice, with good service and we enjoyed the local bread and pastries sold in the shop. There was also entertainment in the bar, if you wanted it. The beach and surrounding area was lovely. It  was a bit tight getting the Caravan out, not so much the size of the pitch but the narrowish road leading to it.  We did have to leave a day early, the reason being due to the Ferry time. The site gate is locked between 11pm and 7 am, if we had left it until the day of departure, we would not have made the sailing, which was 10 am. so we travelled up the night before and parked overnight at the Ferry Terminal, which is permitted for Caravans. On the whole we had an enjoyable and memorable stay at Village La Plage.
