Good for families

Excellent welcoming site and lots of extra touches

Having been here several times en route to the Dordogne, we knew we’d be given a wonderful, warm welcome. On our return visit the lovely welcome came, even though there was torrential rain! The owner came out with his umbrella, walked us to our pitch and still stopped to have a little chat. He even parked us across 2 pitches so we could remain hitched up! Unbeatable customer services. And that’s just the welcome. This is a beautiful, spacious site with excellent facilities. There were fresh flowers in the large shower block and very good individual washing cabins with huge mirrors and well placed lights above. There were even lower sinks for children and hairdryers. The bar in the chateau and terrace are a lovely place to sit on a night – great atmosphere. The pool and pool area seemed to be very good – we didn’t use them. The pitches are set out in a huge circle – think cowboys and Indians. Very unusual but you have plenty of space either side of your outfit and no-one in front of you, so a massive space to put out your table, chairs and recliners. Surrounding you are specimen trees and gorgeous flower beds. Once pitched, we opened the window and we had perfume of the roses in the ‘van. In one of the areas there is a herb garden and you are invited to use whatever herbs, tomatoes, radishes you need for a meal. It also looks to be a great site for families and children. There is a swings etc area and little log cabin village for the little ones, a trampoline, large playing field with goal posts and a volley ball net as well as an outdoor gym equipment area. Can’t fault this site in any way!
