A relaxing site with helpful staff and wonderful sea views

We have stayed here twice, once in May 2014 and again in late June/early July 2016 and loved it both times. We don't often return to sites, so this in itself is testimony to our enjoyment of our visit in 2014. I disagree about the toilet blocks not being clean. We found them spotless. Yes, they are unisex, but this is normal in France and there are privacy cubicles. The water in the showers is warm rather than hot, but we did visit in summer when hotter showers would have been uncomfortable and unnecessary. The pitches are of adequate size (I have experienced smaller ones on some English sites), but the views across the bay from the pitches are exquisite. The staff were very helpful and proved very diplomatic in the face of provocative behaviour from two campers (yes, they were British, I am ashamed to say), who seemed to blame the staff for the fact that buses are infrequent and at inconvenient times and the nearest bus stop is at the Office de Tourisme, 15 minutes walk away. There is direct access from the site to a couple of sandy beaches, although the paths are quite steep and narrow. The headland can be reached by a short walk along another narrow path and the views from there are breathtaking in good weather. There is a good bar and a shop that stocks basic supplies. The pool area is adequate, although it does not match the standard of other five star sites we have visited in France.
