Stayed at this site for 2 nights heading further South and had an excellent time. The site was pretty much empty which surprised us for early July. We were given a choice of pitches all of which seem to be spacious. Friendly staff, all of whom speak at least some English. Very clean facilities. Nice setting with old chateau as the reception. Pool area small but very attractive but not busy at this time. The crazy golf area has seen better days, but could be fun for the kids. Entrance to the site seems a bit narrow, but we have a large caravan and it didn't cause any problems. Not sure what it might be like if very busy, but would highly recommend. A must do is the Velo rail at Chauvigny which is an old railway line that uses the old rails with a bicycle contraption that you peddle yourself along. Great fun for kids and adults.
