Disappointed

I stayed here from 9th June to 30th June and can only reiterate most of what millielou said plus I found the water pressure quite low and the showers very poor in Sanitation 2. Sanitation 1 up by the chalets had good pressure but not always hot. Using the water supply along the Avenue made it very difficult to fill a water barrel, I had to resort to using a tap in the washing area. I was told to empty my waste in the Chemical Loo disposal point. Can you imagine lifting an Aquawaste onto one of those toilet type units. I’m amazed I didn’t permanently damage my back or even have a hernia. It appeared that some people were emptying their waste water under hedges which is not very hygienic. I would be interested to know when the C & MH Club last inspected this site, how did they stay there, in a caravan or chalet, and whereabouts on the site. I too didn’t know about the good pitches until I was leaving. If you have already booked there I suggest you ask for the ‘good pitches’ otherwise give it a wide berth. The only plus side of things was the pool area and the staff although I saw very little ground maintenance and the vegetation needed cutting back on the pitches. Les Pecheurs has had a good reputation in the past which they had probably earned, but so easy to lose it. Would I go back, no, not until the site improved with regard to the pitches, shower blocks, water points and waste disposal points.
