This was our first ever site abroad and our first with the club. Arrived and waited 2 hours to check in but only 2 campers in front of me. lady on reception said just find a pitch with power and u ok. I explained I have never been to a site before and was unsure what to do and she replied ask someone. Eventuall I was helped by another club member and sorted a pitch, however there was no water to fill my campervan. Went back to reception waited another 40 mins to be told it's broken and I will have to wait for her to undo shed door and get water but will be another hour. I gave up at this point and went to have a shower and my god I have never seen such a disgusting site of dirty showers and sinks with 4 inches of dirty water sitting in the bottom of the shower tray which included human waste shall we say. So what can I say this was our first ever site and and we wanted to go home and have our club membership refunded. Redeemed were the other 4 sites we stayed at which were wonderfully and having met another club member who stayed at pre verts explained they looked at it and drove away for the same reasons and was not common to find sites like this. I have reported my findings to the club and hope they will act accordingly even if the site can be helped in some way perhaps as I can see it must have once been very nice as the location and beech are good.
