Good for families

Pleasant weeks stay.

We stayed for seven nights returning from a week in the Loire to Calais. The site is not difficult to find if you ditch the technology and use a current map( remember them?).The site is good value for money and is exactly how it is described in the Continental Touring Guide. It would help if there was a handout in English showing a diagram of the site and facilities. The pitches are slightly smaller than on Club sites, but if you tow anything smaller than some of the apartments on wheels they are perfectly adequate. We never had to queue for the sanitary facilities which seem sufficient and well maintained.Pont Audemer is a lovely little town with everything you may require. The access to the invasion beaches is fairly good.Do not miss Etretat,Honfleur, the Thatched cottage route round the Marais nature reserve and particularly the very emotive Pegasus Bridge. The nature reserve adjacent to the site is lovely and never crowded. All in all we got exactly what we expected. The site manager has just sufficient English and our leaving fairly early was no problem.A very convenient and good value site for the South Coast ferries.
