We stayed for 3 nights in September 2022. As we had prepaid, there was only the local tourist tax to pay on arrival. Reception staff spoke good English. We had taken a small pitch which was not clearly defined but was adequate for our camper. A key is needed for the disabled facilities for which a refundable deposit is required. The facilities were easily accessed, spacious, modern and spotless. My only complaint was a broken chair which posed an accident risk but was not removed \ fixed despite being reported on our first day. As other reviews have highlighted the site is ideally placed for visiting the town and accessing Rhine cruises; Niederwald Monument etc. A four hour cruise to Sankt Goar (Loreley) was only €15 each for over 60s. There is plenty to do and see in the local area for a couple of week’s holiday if not touring. The WiFi is only a hotspot at reception and not very reliable even there. I took the A61 down from the Dutch border to Bingen then crossed on the Bingen \ Rüdesheim ferry (€8.50 for our small camper.) We would definitely use the site again.
