Good for families

A fabulous site

We stayed at this site in June 2017. It's simply a great site with large grassy pitches, plenty to do for younger families, bikes, fishing and so much more. Nearby St Emilion is breath taking as are the Vine yards and wine tasting opportunities. We had travelled to the site from the North on the A10 and experienced extreme difficulty in Libourne as in one particular part, the road had been narrowed with concrete barriers to such an extent that we had a real problem squeezing through. We are a wide van at 8ft, but at least four other couples on site said they had also had the same problem. I have mentioned this to reception as I had not seen any mention of this previously. I note other reviews comment about the sat nav problems which are very true. Best to head for St Emilion itself and access the site from there, otherwise you may be routed around the back into narrow roads etc.
