Camping Villasol is a busy site in a perfect location for Benidorm, being only a 20 minute walk from Playa Levante beach. It’s currently undergoing refurbishment which meant there was a fair bit of noise and dust, but we were well aware of that when we booked so we can’t complain. The refurbishment is being done to a high standard. We were upgraded, at no extra cost, to one of the newly refurbished service pitches which which was large, level and sunny. The two toilet blocks which had been renewed were lovely, and a third was being worked on whilst we were there; the older blocks were clean but rather tired. There is an upgraded supermarket on site with reasonable prices. The bar/restaurant was open all day except Monday and served breakfast as well as lunch and dinner - it was busy in the evenings. There was a special Valentine’s evening whilst we were there with entertainment which was a nice touch. Even though it was low season, there was a programme of activities every day - Zumba, Spanish lessons, aquafit in the indoor pool for example. There are a mix of nationalities on site. There are some holiday bungalows and some permanent caravans but these were situated towards the top end of the site. All in all, if you like Benidorm, it’s a nice place to stay.
