Perfect

Fields End Water
Second visit to this charming site, last time I was lucky to get on the waterside pitches but this time had to settle for the main park which was equally as good. Large hard standing fully serviced pitch with a large grass area as well. All perfectly level. Good TV signal and excellent facilities block along with a shop , cafe and fishing lakes onsite. Visited St Ives and Ely riverside locations but well worth a visit, enjoyed a river trip at St Ives and a lunch in one of the many eateries. Only downside our own WiFi packed up and were unable to use the sites WiFi which appeared to be out of use.

Lovely site

Fields End Water
Stayed here in March 2023 , we have not been here for a while but we were very impressed with all the work that has been done . Site was immaculate, toilets very clean but not very warm when we went to have a shower in the morning so for the rest of the week we had a shower in the van . Lovely walks on site and off site , good chip shop and pub in the village and a garden centre which does really good meals , the staff were friendly and helpful the cafe on site doesnt open until April , the CL is not a CL anymore its called woodside and has very big hardstandings , we have booked to go back in September .

Great Site

Fields End Water
We have just spent two weeks at this site and we had a great time,we don`t usually use Affiliated Sites but we did come here in 2017 for Xmas and said at the time it would be nice to see what it looked like in summer and we were not disappointed it really is a lovely site. We treated ourselves to meals at the onsite cafe 9 times in 14 nights and the food is excellent and the service is superb it really was the highlight of our stay. Plenty of dog walking on and off site but we did not go far because of the heat so really was a relaxing break, onsite shop is good and there are also shops around 1 mile from the site. One small niggle the toilets seem very low and there is no cubicle in the main block with disabled hand rails i myself are not disabled but i do have quite bad Athritis and did struggle to get up from toilets,on Caravan Club Sites i do use the assisted cubicle if avalible.

This caravan and camping site is one of the best

Fields End Water
This caravan and camping site is one of the best we have been to in the entire UK. Picturesque, peaceful, providing a sense of wellbeing. The grounds and the 3 lakes are kept exceptionally well and still being developed. The entire staff are friendly, keen to help and keep their promises. If you're a fisherperson, then this has to be a place to visit. The facilities are unbelievable ... of Boutique Hotel standard including their design, fittings quality and luxurious feeling. Always in pristine condition and so clean. The pitches are all very large. The cafe onsite is set by one of the lakes and provides a really nice place to sit, chat, eat & drink. There are several walks and a circular 2 mile run around all 3 lakes on-site. The local viallage has everything you might need from petrol to food to eating out and takeaway. There is a Tesco Superstore a 10 minute drive away. A first Class site providing a really great place to stay ... ours was for 15 nights.

Excellent Affiliated Site

Fields End Water
Trying to think of something negative to say about this site but struggling. Ummm.... well the turn in from the reception to the barrier entrance to the pitch areas is a bit tight if you have a whopping big unit but apart from that. Oh, I suppose the fact you have to walk on grass to plug your electric and water in (serviced pitches) in some areas might be worth mentioning, then again maybe not. If you want to pitch around one of the lake areas then you pay a premium of £6 but then you don't have to pay for fishing. The shop is well stocked and entrance barriers add that bit of security. It's a quiet area and I think most people use it for that reason, oh and the fishing of course. It is ADULTS only. Dog walking around the lakes and local footpaths is good. There is also a C.L., which we have used quite a bit in the past, but this is on grass. Shower block, Elsan point and rubbish bins, including recycling, are well kept. We like to visit various wildlife/bird reserves in the area, plus visit Ely or Peterborough and we would use this site again without hesitation. The site now has a few Pods and Lodges, some of the pods are around the new fishing lake.
