The Caravan and Motorhome Club has unveiled a major redevelopment of Bridport Bingham Grange Club Campsite in Dorset, marking a significant achievement in the evolution of its UK campsite network. The transformed Club campsite now includes a brand-new Experience Freedom glamping village, bringing premium ready-to-stay accommodation to one of the UK’s most iconic coastal destinations.

The campsite has undergone a comprehensive transformation to become a multi-accommodation destination just moments from the Jurassic Coast. The redevelopment combines upgraded touring facilities with contemporary design, enhanced amenities and a broadened accommodation offering, including new cottages, reflecting growing demand for more flexible, high-quality outdoor holidays. Prices to stay at the Club campsite start from just £59, including a grass pitch. Even more, Club members and their friends and family can enjoy 20% off glamping stays - making it easy to extend the holiday beyond those with their own touring outfit. 

At the heart of the redevelopment is the launch of Experience Freedom at Bingham Grange Bridport - the Club’s first glamping village in Dorset and its 11th UK location. Purpose-built within the redesigned campsite, the new village introduces a collection of 12 premium glamping units, including:

• Safari tents with private en-suite facilities
• Spacious family under-canvas options
• Modern cabins with a separate bedroom
• Signature Experience Freedom glamping pods

Prices for the glamping village start from just £59 a night for an Experience Freedom glamping pod, £89 a night for an Experience Freedom glamping cabin, and £69 a night for an Experience Freedom safari tent (based on a minimum of 2 nights).

Together, these provide ready-to-stay accommodation for couples, families and multi-generational groups, opening up the campsite to a wider audience beyond traditional touring guests.

The wider redevelopment delivers a step-change in on-site experience, including:

• A new central hub with reception and upgraded facilities

• Enhanced pitches, including serviced and premium options
• Improved infrastructure and landscaping to elevate both comfort and accessibility

Situated just 3 miles from Bridport and West Bay (the gateway to the Jurassic Coast), this historic market town has a vibrant mix of town, sea and country life, hosting festivals, carnivals and events throughout the year. West Bay offers stunning landscapes and breathtaking views from its dramatic coastline. It is the perfect campsite in Dorset from which to explore west towards Charmouth and Lyme Regis, and east to Dorchester and Weymouth.
